Javier Rivero, President of Brickell Global Markets, Inc.℠ since July 2015,  joined Espirito Santo Bank in May of 2014 as president of E.S. Financial Services, Inc.

In his position as president of Brickell Global Markets, Inc.℠, Rivero ensures that the organization adheres to the rules and regulations established by both FINRA and the SEC.  He is responsible for business development, strategic planning, and implementation along with recruiting Relationship Advisors, and facilitating cross-departmental collaboration.  He is charged with ensuring that the budget, staff, and priorities of his division are aligned with the company’s core mission of client-centric dedication to developing mutually beneficial, long-standing relationships.

Rivero was the Vice President/Complex Administrative Manager from 2011 at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in Miami.  During his tenure, he supervised a team of 145 financial advisors generating $180 million in annual revenue in Latin America.  Rivero was also responsible for the PMD program where he recruited and coached Financial Advisors and was a key leader in new business development.

Relocating to Miami in 2006, Rivero joined the LatAm Division of Wells Fargo Advisors LLC as Vice President/Complex Administrative Manager.  He began his financial services career at Wachovia Securities LLC (Summit, New Jersey) in the operations department of the Capital Management Group from 2002 to 2006.

In 2001, Rivero – who is fluent in English and Spanish – was graduated from Kean University (New Jersey) with a B.S. in Finance and was a member of National Honor Society.  He received his AAS in Business Management from Union County College (New Jersey) in 1998.  Rivero holds his FINRA Series 3, 4, 7, 9, 10, 63 and 65 and is Florida Life Insurance Licensed
